Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Nominated in the Top 50 of Global Views Magazine’s 5th Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Global Views Magazine recently announced the list of winners for its 5th corporate social responsibility award for the year of 2009. Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable’s distinguished performance allowed it to be listed in the top 70 of the list. As Ta Ya remains dedicated to its business and operational development, it is also simultaneously continuing investments in the low-carbon “Green Assembly Plan.” With “Green Wire, Green Driver” as our vision, Ta Ya hopes to realize its corporate social responsibilities and create a positive green lifestyle.

At the same time, the China Times also devoted significant space to report the “energy farm” sponsored by Ta Ya. Zhu Shejie, the recipient of the sponsorship, stated that he was neither an environmentalist nor an energy expert, but he wanted to add more changes to his life, and therefore wrote the proposal to apply energy substitutes for his own farm, and secured a NT$ 600,000 sponsorship grant from Ta Ya.
