Bare Copper Wire

Since it’s founding over half a century ago, Ta Ya has accumulated decades of experience in manufacturing copper wire. This coupled with the copper refining technology provided by our affiliate Cuprime Material Co., Ltd. provides a vertically integrated supply chain that gives us full mastery over our copper characteristics and manufacturing know-how. Our wire-drawing equipment, die and drawing oil come from a major European vendor while our closely monitored manufacturing process is ISO9001, ISO14000 and ISO/TS16949 certified. This process ensures that the solid or stranded copper wires delivered to our customers have the characteristics, quality and reliability expected by our customers. Our comprehensive expertise in copper material and wiring R&D and manufacturing also allows us to meet the need for all kinds of copper conductor material in end-user products including power cable, communications cable and enameled wire.

As part of our effort to develop high added-value products Ta Ya is now beginning to supply the electronics industry as well. Research and development began in 2003 and by working with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National Cheng Kung University and other technical resources in the academic sector, Ta Ya was able to successfully develop fine pitch copper wire bonding used by the packaging industry. Our technology and quality is now a match for major Swiss, Japanese and Korean manufacturers. We are also the only Taiwanese company to have passed the full process reliability test for 25μm copper wire bonding at ASE’s Kaohsiung Fab.
