       (Special telegram from Central News Agency reporter Shi-Ren Kang in New Delhi on November 21) The Center for Promotion of Innovative Operation Models in the field of Energy Sources in Taiwan and the Electronic Industries Association Of India ( ELCINA ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of green energy industry development . The goal of this memorandum lies in the establishment of a platform for mutual cooperation.
       A delegation comprised of personnel of the Center for Promotion of Innovative Operation Models in the field of Energy Sources in Taiwan and representatives of Taiwan green energy businesses including Chung-Hsin Electric & Machinery Mfg. Corp., CeTech Co., Ltd., KDE Power, Digimax Innovative Products Ltd., and Taya Electric Wire & Cable visited India led by Mr. Jun-De Zuo, Director of Research Division I of Taiwan Institute of Economic Research to participate in the Smart Asia 2017 -Expo & Summit held in Bangalore on the 23rd.
       Mr. Jun-De Zuo pointed out that the delegation paid an official visit to ELCINA, which gave Taiwanese green energy businesses an opportunity to introduce the latest technologies including fuel cells, electric vehicles, small- and medium-sized wind turbines, turbine platforms and technologies, and solar energy technologies, received with great interest by India.
       Mr. Pankaj Gulati, President of the Electronic Industries Association Of India, suggested that Taiwanese green energy businesses make investments and search for suitable cooperation partners in India. He expressed his sincere hope that these businesses bring their technologies to India and establish a pilot zone to assist India in the promotion of green energy industries.
       Both sides finally decided that a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of green energy industry development be signed by The Center for Promotion of Innovative Operation Models in the field of Energy Sources in Taiwan and the Electronic Industries Association Of India with the goal of establishing a matching platform for the Taiwanese and Indian green energy industries to promote mutual development and cooperation. 1061121
