TAYA Group, a leading brand in the energy supply chain, will join hands with the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association (TLPGA) to host the “2025 TAYA Group Ladies Open” at Chia Nan Golf Club from December 10 to 12.
TAYA Group once again partners with the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association (TLPGA) to hold the “2025 TAYA Group Ladies Open” at Chia Nan Golf Club. With the strong support of TAYA Group, this year’s tournament has been fully upgraded, with the total prize purse increased to NT$10 million, making it one of the top women’s tour events in Asia with the highest prize money.
TAYA Group and TLPGA held the tournament press conference today (5th), inviting Chairman Huang Jih-Tsan of the Taiwan Industry Innovation Platform, Chairman Fang Sung-Jen of Daying Management Consulting, Manager Lien Chung-Chieh of Chia Nan Golf Club, and professional golfers Wu Chun-Wei, Hung Yu-Lin, Ku Meng-Chen, Lee Min, Lin Tzu-Han, Tseng Chen, Huang Ching, Chen Chih-Min, Chang Ching-Ling, and Hsieh Chia-Yu to attend together, officially kicking off this annual sporting event.
This year marks the 70th anniversary milestone of TAYA Group. While continuing steady progress in its core businesses, the Group has transformed its success into meaningful contributions to society and the land. In the sports sector, TAYA continues to provide stable support for outstanding athletes. Compared with the long-established development of men’s golf, women’s golf requires even more resources and attention for promotion and cultivation.
Chairman Shen Shang-Hung of TAYA Group stated:
“The second edition of this tournament not only commemorates TAYA’s 70 years of deep roots in Tainan, but also represents our long-term commitment to women’s golf. I hope Taiwan can develop an environment similar to the JLPGA or LPGA tours, allowing more Taiwanese women golfers to compete with international players and eventually challenge the global stage.”
Top Players Gather at Chia Nan, Professional Tournament Format Enhances Competition

The 2025 TAYA Group Ladies Open will be held from December 10 to 12 at Chia Nan Golf Club in Tainan City, bringing together more than 100 top players from Taiwan and abroad.
Taiwan’s young women golfers have delivered remarkable performances recently. In addition to overseas-based players such as Lin Tzu-Han and Hung Yu-Lin returning to Taiwan to compete, several Taiwanese stars who achieved strong results this year—including Peng Chieh, Liu Peng-Shan, and Tseng Chen—will also join the competition.
Furthermore, Thailand’s star Patcharajuta, who has already claimed four championship titles this year, will participate, making the lineup even stronger than last year. Meanwhile, defending champion Tsai Pei-Ying’s attempt to secure back-to-back victories is expected to be one of the highlights of the tournament, adding excitement and anticipation for spectators.
The tournament will adopt a three-round stroke play format (54 holes) to ensure both professionalism and viewing enjoyment. A Pro-Am tournament will also be organized, allowing corporate representatives to interact with professional golfers, further enhancing engagement and the overall atmosphere of the event.
TLPGA Chairperson Liu Yi-Chen stated:“Last year, our NT$6 million regular tournament served as a warm-up. This year, the prize purse for the Taihan Group Ladies Open has officially been raised to the NT$10 million level. This support carries profound significance for the development of women’s golf in Taiwan.
TLPGA also hopes that under Chairman Shen’s call, more companies from southern Taiwan will join in supporting women’s golf, making the sport even more vibrant in the southern region.
We would also like to extend our special thanks to the Chia Nan Golf Club team, led by Chairwoman Cheng Su-Kuei-Mei and Manager Lien Chung-Chieh, for providing the highest-quality tournament environment so that players can fully showcase their skills.”
TAYA Group is also proud to serve as a strong supporter of the players. In addition to providing young athletes with more exposure and competitive opportunities through public tournaments, sponsored players Wu Chun-Wei and Hung Yu-Lin shared their thoughts at the press conference.
Wu Chun-Wei said:“I am very grateful and honored to receive support from Taihan Group. It allows me to pursue my golf dream with fewer worries, and I will do my best to achieve even better results.”
Hung Yu-Lin added:“Throughout the ups and downs of my competitive journey, the support and care from Taihan have been a steady strength behind me, accompanying me in training and in challenging overseas tournaments.”
Deepening ESG Commitment — TAYA Group Gives Back to Society and Looks Toward a Sustainable Future
While achieving steady growth in its core businesses, TAYA Group is also actively giving back to society through concrete actions.
Beyond environmental sustainability, the Group has expanded into sports events, demonstrating the diverse dimensions of its ESG commitment.
The 5th Taihan Pineapple Marathon, which integrates sustainability, culture, and cuisine, attracted the largest number of runners ever, becoming one of the most popular sporting events in southern Taiwan. The 6th Taihan Pineapple Marathon has already drawn strong attention immediately after registration opened.
In addition to women’s golf, TAYA Group continues to support long-distance runner Chien Tzu-Chieh, who is training in Japan, and sponsors Fubon Guardians baseball games and the home games of the Yankee Engineering basketball team, allowing Taihan’s presence to extend across multiple dynamic sports arenas.
In November this year, TAYA Group once again received Sports Enterprise Certification from the Sports Administration, promoting sports culture not only to fulfill ESG social responsibility but also to practice the corporate mission of “Happy Employees.” Through the power of sports, Taihan hopes to showcase sustainability, local development, and sportsmanship simultaneously.

At the press conference for the 2025 TAYA Group Ladies Open, Chairman Shen Shang-Hung stated:“Through this tournament, TAYA hopes to provide Taiwanese players with opportunities to compete with international golfers and further enhance their skills.”
Looking ahead, Chairman Shen emphasized that TAYA will continue to deepen its roots in Taiwan, leverage its expertise in energy to promote net-zero sustainability, and continue to create impact in social welfare, climate action, renewable energy, and sustainable supply chains.
The 2025 TAYA Group Ladies Open not only highlights Taihan’s long-term and steadfast support for women’s golf, but also aims to discover and nurture more promising talents through the tournament platform. Taihan will continue to provide stable support to help young players step onto the international stage.
