Policies and Commitments

To put our sustainable development philosophy into practice, Ta Ya established the Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles of Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd., which sets out the Company’s management approach to economic, environmental, and people-related matters, including human rights, in support of sustainable development. The Principles were approved by the Board of Directors on April 25, 2022, and amended on November 6, 2025. The scope of application covers the overall operations of the parent company and the Group.

To further integrate sustainable development into corporate management, Ta Ya incorporates sustainability principles into corporate strategy and promotes growth through the “Emerging, Energy, and ESG” 3E Strategy. Through these efforts, Ta Ya supports Taiwan’s energy transition with reliable capabilities while pursuing the vision of an environmentally friendly and better homeland.

Policy Oversight and Implementation

In accordance with the Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles, the Board of Directors serves as the highest-level body overseeing Ta Ya’s sustainable development practices. The Board regularly reviews implementation performance and promotes continuous improvement to ensure that sustainability policies are effectively implemented. The Board incorporates sustainable development into the Company’s business activities and development strategies, and authorizes the Sustainability Development Committee to address economic, environmental, and social matters arising from business operations and report the outcomes to the Board.

At the implementation level, responsibilities are assigned to relevant functions based on the nature of each issue. Each responsible function integrates policy commitments into daily operating policies, procedures, and management systems, including environmental management, supplier management, occupational health and safety, human rights and labor practices, ethical business conduct, and intellectual property protection.
