Ta Ya Volunteers Support Hongya's Public Bicycle System

        Local governments in various parts of Taiwan are starting to adopt the public bicycle system as a means of low-carbon transportation. Among the many systems available, the most distinctive of which is the public bicycle system of Chiayi Hongya Cultural Association, for it is operated solely by the private sector. The association's chairman - Yu Guoxin happened to be a winner of 2013 Green Inside Project, during which he won the "Southern Spirits Award" and NT$300,000 in cash with unanimous support from all juries.

        TAYA Pristine Homeland foundation has since been paying attention to Hongya Cultural Association. Upon learning that Hongya's public bicycle system was in need of urgent maintenance and that Yushan Inn was in need of a big cleanup, Ta Ya volunteers answered the call and traveled to Chiayi on the 25th to give their support through action.
