After thorough review of all companies trained during the year (2014), National Taiwan University School of Professional Education and Continuing Studies decided to present its "Corporate Education Sustainability Award" to Ta Ya Group. During the "2013 Join Graduation Ceremony for NTU School of Professional Education and Continuing Studies" held on September 21, NTU President Yang Pan-Chyr personally presented this award to Ta Ya Chairman Shen Shang-Hung.

Chairman Shen said: "People are the key to business management. Talent training and retention are the most important commitments a company may provide to its employees. The group's strategic roadmap, for instance, has a management reserve program in place to train talents. This year was the first time that the company had collaborated with NTU's EMBA professors and organized "Ta Ya Group Elite Management and Practical Workshop" to provide mid-level and senior managers with highlights of the EMBA course."

Ta Ya had devoted great attention to organizing this practical workshop. Since the initial planning stage, Chairman Shen had been listening to briefings along with heads of various business groups, explaining clearly the company's future directions, and training requirements. Before the course started, managers would travel all the way from the south just to communicate with instructors to make sure that course contents are aligned with the group's requirements. After the course began, Chairman Shen led his team of managers to attend every lecture and paid close attention throughout each session. Every instructor was impressed by the pro-activeness and level of participation each manager had demonstrated before, during and after lectures.
