Ta Ya Ventures into Culture Industry　Turning Japanese Old House into Exquisite Jewelry Box

       During the press conference, Chairman Shen Shang-Hung of Ta Ya Electric Wire and Cable joined Taipei City Deputy Mayor Chang Chin-Oh, Commissioner Liu Wei-Gong of Department of Cultural Affairs, Director General Wu Ming-Ji of Industrial Development Bureau (Ministry of Economic Affairs), and Miracle President Zheng Zhengliang to open the door to the newly refurbished Japanese old house. Deputy Mayor Chang spoke out of his architectural profession: "I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and the creativity combining new and old elements demonstrated in this project." Commissioner Liu said: "There are still 70 to 80 old houses in Taipei City that require restoration. We hope to receive more contribution from the corporate world to make it happen."

       Chairman Shen responded: "Building a pristine homeland has long been one of Ta Ya's missions. In this project, Ta Ya Venture helped the Miracle team obtain funding from National Development Fund that eventually resulted in the success of the old house restoration project. Over the course of this involvement, Ta Ya has accomplished its mission of building a pristine homeland." Miracle is founded by a group of young people who are passionate about art and culture. The company's main business activities include: metal and silverware design, culture, and creativity branding, and restoration of old houses. Miracle's second project in the "Old House Culture Movement," the restoration of Railway Department Director's Housing, is scheduled to complete by the end of 2016.
