Ta Ya is dedicated to the development of environmental-friendly products as part of its mission towards building a pristine homeland. After obtaining ECO Label for its 600V environmental-friendly cable (Reference No.: Huan-Biao-10932), the company once again launched an ECO Label-certified flat fiber optic cable ahead of peers to provide users with new green choices for FTTH (fiber to the home).

The flat fiber optic cable was designed to be installed in-home at the user's end in close proximity with users, which was why the company decided to use less pollutive, low-smoke, fire-resistant and zero toxicity materials for safety reasons in the first place. The fire resistance feature conforms with IEEE 383 standards. Some fiber optic cables are gel-filled due to waterproof requirements, but Ta Ya's flat fiber optic cable features a dry design that does not require the use of gel, and therefore avoids polluting the environment or causing damage to human health.

In addition, flat fiber optic cables are made using exclusive machinery, and therefore will not be contaminated by other materials. Ta Ya has made special care in the packaging as well. The plastic reel material contains none of the toxic chemicals controlled by the Environmental Protection Administration, such as dioxin and environmental hormones, and is recyclable/reusable. 80% of carton box materials are sourced from recycled paper.

Ta Ya's flat fiber optic cable has all the features including small diameter, light weight, and all-band transmission to make it the best FTTH solution in the big data era.
