New Taipei City Government has been running a "Supply Bank" program since 2011 as a means to gather private resources to help the socially disadvantaged. United Electric Industry, a member of Ta Ya Group, had participated in the program in 2014 by contributing food flavoring agents branded "Flavor Punch," for which it received a commendation from New Taipei City Mayor Chu Li-Lun.

In the afternoon of the 19th, New Taipei City Government held a gratitude ceremony at the main hall to thank all who donated to the Supply Bank. President Huang Shulin of United Electric Industry attended the ceremony on behalf of Ta Ya. Mayor Chu said in his speech that the Supply Bank had received overwhelming donation of goods and services from the public that covered virtually every living need. More than NT$180 million of resources were raised by New Taipei City through the Supply Bank program in the last year. After more than 4 years, the Supply Bank has received supplies valuing more than NT$690 million and distributed them to the benefit of more than 1 million people.

Upon learning this event, United Electric Industry decided to donate one batch of food flavoring agents branded "Flavor Punch" as a show of support. President Huang said: "We are glad to have the opportunity to give back to the society, and give disadvantaged families a chance to enjoy the healthy, convenient, and wonderful flavors of Flavor Punch."

n the future, Ta Ya Group will continue working with government agencies to give back to the society and deliver kindness to where it is needed.
