With numerous applications promising significant potentials, VR/AR is going strong with no signs of slowing down. iStaging, the joint-venture between Taya Venture Capital and National Development Fund, has signed an LOI with IMAR, a renowned urban consulting firm based in Saudi Arabia to export Taiwan’s VR/AR development capacities to the Middle East market.

The signing ceremony was scheduled to take place at TAF Innovation Base on the 9th, attended by Taya Venture Capital Chairman Shen Shang-Hung, iStaging Founder and CEO Johnny Lee and IMAR CEO Khalid Al Othman.

In his address, Lee commented, “I would like to extend my gratitude to the Institute for Information Industry for facilitating this collaboration. I look forward to delivering creative and novel AR/VR solutions for sectors such as realty development, real estate, interior design, furniture, and so forth. Khalid Al Othman also noted, “iStaging integrates construction, furniture, real estate agency, and consumers. It is a very innovative breakthrough in technology.”

After the signing ceremony concluded, iStaging held its “VRCAM 2.0” global launch. According to Lee, “VRCAM 2.0 is a key that enables the average user to enter the era of VR; anyone will be able to use the VRCAM App on their smart phones and create VR panoramas in seconds with pictures they have just taken. The App is easy to use and offers greater scope of application.” At present, Taya Venture Capital owns approximately 20% of iStaging’s shares.
