Taya Electric Wire & Cable signed a cooperation agreement with National Hsin Hua Industrial Vocational High School to build a long-term cooperative relationship. The group will provide electric wires and cables for practical instruction in the electromechanical and plumbing departments as well as industrial and indoor wiring required for participation of students in national skills competitions and wire materials required for integrated skills training for three occupational categories in the field of electromechanics free of charge. The total annual value of these materials is NT$ 400,000. Taya Group also organizes visits to affiliated enterprises for students of the school.
This Letter of Intent for Cooperation was signed by Mr. Chuang, Pa-Kuei, General Manager of Taya Energy & Telecom. Cable Business Group and Mr. Chen, Chi-Tsung, principal of Hsin Hua Industrial Vocational High School. Mr. Ming-Jin Huang and Mr. Shi-Xian Guo, Director and Vice-Director of the Production Division of Taya Energy & Telecom. Cable Business Group, Mr. Tai-Yuan Wang, Honorary Chairman of the Alumni Association of Hsin Hua Vocational High School, and Mr. Wei-Ren Lu, Chairman of the Parents’ Association attended as witnesses. This is a clear indicator for the importance attached to this event by both parties. He expressed his sincere hope that this cooperation project will benefit the school’s students, inject fresh blood into the industry, and create a win-win situation.
Mr. Chuang, Pa-Kuei stated that Taya Group, which was founded in 1955, has deep roots in Taiwan. The company has also established production bases in Mainland China and Vietnam. Over the past 60 years, Taya Group has gradually expanded its business areas from the production of generic electric wires to magnet wires, high voltage cables, solar power plants, and investment in joint ventures. Its eco-friendly electric cables were honored with an international Green Classics Award.
