AD Cares for Community Through Charity Auction, Blood Donation, and Baseball Team Sponsorship

AD Engineering Co., Ltd., an affiliated enterprise of Ta Ya Group, has long been dedicated to social responsibilities. While constructing the Magic School of Green Technologies, AD Engineering donated a model of a mammoth for display inside the building. The model serves as a reminder that loss of habitat causes extinction, and the same fate will fall upon humans if we do not treat the Earth with respect. This year's community care features three activities: charity auction, blood donation, and fundraising for the baseball team of An Ching Elementary School in Tainan.

For the charity auction, we invited employees to put a price tag on their no-longer-used items and sell them at auction. Auction proceeds totaling NT$18,210 were used to purchase 65 packs of diapers, which were entirely donated to "Tainan Infant's Home." Meanwhile, the blood donation event received participation from 34 employees and family members. In addition to employees' voluntary activities, we also sponsored NT$80,000 to the baseball team of An Ching Elementary School, and is exploring various ways to fulfill our social responsibilities. It is our discovery that employees tend to identify themselves with the company, recognize their own values, care for the community, and appreciate the good things in life when they engage in various activities to care for the society.
