Ta Ya (Viet Nam) Electric Wire & Cable Joint Stock Company’s 2023 Shareholders Meeting and President Handover Ceremony

       On April 10, 2023, the Ta Ya (Viet Nam) Electric Wire & Cable Joint Stock Company held its annual shareholders’ meeting and a ceremony to hand over the position of president. The event took place in the conference room of the Ta Ya (Vietnam) Company’s Dong Nai factory and was successfully completed under the supervision of Chairman Shen Shang-Pang and Vice-Chairman Shen Shang-Tao. The atmosphere was grand and enthusiastic.

       According to regulations of the Vietnam Stock Exchange, listed companies must hold their annual shareholders’ meeting before the end of April each year. The Ta Ya Group established Ta Ya (Viet Nam) Electric Wire & Cable Company in the second industrial zone of Bien Hoa, Dong Nai Province, in 1992. In 2005, Ta Ya (Viet Nam) was approved to convert to a joint stock company and was listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in 2006, becoming the first 100% foreign-owned enterprise to be listed in the history of Vietnam’s securities trading. This year, Ta Ya (Vietnam) held its 2023 annual shareholders’ meeting, coinciding with the retirement of President Wang Ting-Shu and the appointment of the former Vice-President of the Hai Duong Branch in North Vietnam, Hsu Ching-Yao, as the new President. The handover ceremony was held together with the shareholders’ meeting.
