大The Green Wire developed by Ta Ya Electric Wire and Cable had won the "Green Product Award" during the "1st Green Classics Award" organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Under the invitation of Tainan City Government and Southern Taiwan Green Technology Industry Association, Ta Ya participated in the "2012 Green Technology Industry Expo" held between 11/16 (Friday) and 11/19 (Monday).

After hosting the opening ceremony in the afternoon of 11/16 (Friday), Mayor Lai Ching-Te joined Deputy Director Wang Yunming of MOEA Bureau of Energy and Managing Director Chen Dianting of Southern Taiwan Green Technology Industry Association to a tour to the main theme display and Ta Ya's booth. The visitors were especially impressed with Ta Ya's attention and efforts in green technology and environmental protection.

Ta Ya's Green Wire is made of halogen-free plastics and is free of heavy metals. It features high flame retardance, produces very little smoke when burnt, and generates no hazardous substance such as dioxin and haloid acid. These features had attracted visitors' attention throughout the exhibition. Apart from Green Wire, Ta Ya's service staff were also eager to introduce to visitors the benefits and necessity of lead-free cables, and hoped to raise people's awareness towards heavy metal pollution. Ta Ya had successfully differentiated itself from peers with the introduction of lead-free cables, but without incurring additional cost to buyers, and for which it was highly complimented by visitors.
