Ta Ya Group's 2012 Green Inside Project Evaluation Invites You

11月3日(六) On November 3 (Saturday), Green Inside foundation held its 2012 (3rd) Green Inside Project Evaluation at a quiet corner of Tainan City.The grand prize of this year's Green Inside Project - the [Southern Spirits Award] - was contested between three candidates from Taipei, Tainan, and Pingtung. Each of them shared a different respect and vision about human culture and the natural environment, but they all hoped to expand the greenness in our lives nonetheless. Two of the candidates raised proposals for organic farming but involved different methods, which gave the juries a tough time making the final decision.

The [Pristine Homeland Award], which commends unknown environment-friendly actions, received 14 contestants. They were given an opportunity to describe and listen to others share their experience about building a pristine homeland in an open setting. In particular, Mingdao University Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning proposed 6 projects for the competition. The competing projects were more than just designs of environmental-friendly objects, but also featured the use of drama performance, round-the-island tour, and a campaign named SOMEBODY to incorporate environmental protection issues into people's lives. This diversity of environmental-friendly actions, whether performed as a group or by an individual, is what the Green Inside Project intends to inspire.
