Parent-child Interactive Games -- Promoting Harmonious Families (Report by China Daily News)

       The Tainan City Family Education Center not only collaborates with schools and communities, but also with enterprises. Yesterday, it worked with Ta Ya Group to organize parent-kid education activities and invited instructor Su, Sen-Yung to guide the playing of board role-playing games and parent-child interactive games. It was hoped that the entertaining and educational activities would increase parent-child interactions and promote harmonious family relationships.
       The Center stated that they promote family education in the hope of raising people's awareness about the importance of family education. Starting from this year, the Center has endeavored to collaborate with enterprises to bring family education to workers and improve workers' sense of well-being in families, making it known to all that one should care for one's beloved families outside of work.
       The Center also offers a range of family education courses and events that suit every type of family. The contents include parenting education, marital education, inter-generational education and so on. It also provides a family education consultation hotline, hoping that everyone can see the magnificence of families and unleash the positive force within each family.
       Chang, Ping-Ying, the Center's Director said that during this collaboration with Ta Ya Group, the Center helped to invite the most popular instructor of board role-playing games to give instructions and allow families to have fun. The Center also welcomes collaborations with more enterprises to co-organize family education courses and events. In addition to dispatching professional lecturers to deliver speeches in companies, the Center also offers film screening and commentary, parent-child activities, and family education days to pass on the meaning of family education hand in hand.
