Rooftop Solar Power

In 2013, the TAYA Group integrated ESG principles into its corporate vision and has continuously advanced sustainability efforts across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. Over the past decade, the Group has actively developed environmentally friendly products and invested in renewable energy businesses. Currently, it operates 73 solar power plants with a total installed capacity exceeding 200 MW.

The Group’s solar projects include both rooftop and ground-mounted systems, playing an indispensable role across the energy value chain — from generation, transmission, conversion, and storage to management.
“Rooftop Solar Power” refers to solar installations developed by TAYA Green Energy, a subsidiary of the TAYA Group, on existing factory rooftops as well as factory rooftops across northern, central, and southern Taiwan. By utilizing rooftop space, these systems generate electricity for self-consumption or power sales, reducing electricity costs through self-generation and self-use, or supplying green electricity to the market.
