Chairman Shen said in his speech: "One of Ta Ya Group's visions is to become a leading brand in energy connection and an advocate for friendly environment. Because of this vision, the company is always looking for new business opportunities in building friendly environment and pristine homeland. Following the establishment of Ta Ya Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in 2014, the subsidiary had completed energy solutions for University of Kang Ning, San Shing Fastech Corp and Lealea Enterprise by the end of 2015." Instead of reselling, Ta Ya's power plants were intended to be operated over a long period of time, which was why they were constructed using the best materials and the most stringent engineering practices. The facilities remained intact even when Typhoon Dujuan caused extensive damage throughout the nation. Chairman Shen took the opportunity to make a suggestion to financial institutions present at the event, that: "Property insurance companies should offer differentiated premium rates based on actual performance, whereas banks should waive the requirement to obtain parent company's guarantee."

President Zhou said: "Cooperation between Hengs Technology and Ta Ya first began when Hengs Technology purchased solar power cables from Ta Heng, a member of Ta Ya Group. The congruency of the two parties' ideology then resulted in the establishment of Ta Ya Green Energy. What sets us apart from other peers is that Ta Ya Green Energy offers 20 years of warranty and performance guarantee at the same time. By guaranteeing minimum power capacity, we effectively assure returns on investment." In response to the government's vision to achieve a nuclear-free homeland by 2025, President Zhou believes photovoltaic to be the best alternative energy. "The biggest problem concerning supply of power in Taiwan is that the capacity tends to be maxed out during peak hours. Solar energy happens to relieve power load during peak hours, and essentially saves the nation from having to construct another combustion-fired power plant."

Manager Huang recalled the time when he was stationed in Pingtung in 2009, that his office received the full support from Ta Ya, which enabled the Siao Liouciou submarine cable upgrade project to be completed ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, Taiwan Power Company is also progressing towards low-carbon green energy, but "Despite how Million Rooftop PVs and Green Energy Zone may appeal to the public, its programs are moving at a relatively slow pace. Therefore, I hope to see businesses taking initiative in the matter like Ta Ya did." Deputy Mayor Yen drew reference from previous year's "The Paris Agreement" to explain that humans currently do not have the experience to deal with climate change. Nevertheless, Tainan City has invested extensively into the issue, ranking 1st among the nation in terms of water works and solar energy installations. Furthermore, "Shalun Creative Green Energy Technology Park" is expected to begin operations in the near future. Deputy Mayor Yen responded positively to how Ta Ya Green Energy has guaranteed return for investors, and hoped to see other local factories follow Ta Ya's footsteps to fulfilling their duties as the Earth's citizens.

Constructed atop the roof of Ta Ya's Guanmiao headquarter, Touch’ Solar Power plant offers a total capacity of 2.39MW, and when combined with the 499kW contributed from Ta Ya Green Energy, the Company expects to generate 3.61 million KWH of power and reduce carbon emission by 1.88 million kg per year. Touch Solar Power was the first commercial-grade enterprise solar power plant to be constructed in Tainan City. It also has the largest single-rooftop capacity in all of Tainan City, which makes Ta Ya Group a major contributor to "Tainan Municipal Autonomous Regulations on Low-carbon City." In the future, Ta Ya will continue supporting green energy policies of the central and local governments. It currently has plans to construct surface power stations at landfill sites and locations of severe subsidence.
