Ta Ya Group Celebrates 60th Anniversary

In celebration of the 60th anniversary, Ta Ya Group will be hosting a Family Day carnival this upcoming Saturday (the 31st), followed by Delonix Regia Forum on November 1. Employees, family members, local residents, NGOs, and environmental-friendly professionals sponsored by Green Inside foundation are all invited to join at Guanmiao headquarter, Yainan, where we will embrace the coming of the next ten years.
Founded in 1955, Ta Ya Group has claimed many "No. 1" titles in the local cable industry to date. It was the first cable manufacturer to pass Taiwan Power Company's aging stress test for 161KV and 345KV cables, the first cable manufacturer to attain ISO╱TS 16949 certification, the first cable manufacturer to attain "EPA Type I Eco Label," the only cable manufacturer to win "MOEA's 1st Green Classics Award," while Ta Ya (Vietnam) was the first foreign company to be listed for trading in Vietnam …. It has also been known for its relentless commitment to corporate social responsibilities (CSR). The 60th anniversary celebration/carnival scheduled to take place this Saturday (the 31st) will see many valued guests including Tainan City Mayor Lai Ching-Te, Guanmiao District Executive Wang Suzhu, and prominent entrepreneurs.
Ta Ya Group Chairman Shen Shang-Hung said: "Ta Ya is grateful to be able to thrive in the wire and cable industry for 60 years." In terms of future plans, Ta Ya has redefined its corporate vision to become "a leading brand for new energy, a creator of harmonious environment and pristine homeland, and a business trusted by employees, customers, shareholders, and society." Ta Ya's Family Day carnival will feature performances and fun booths organized by several local organizations and group employees, as well as activities such as games, challenges, Ta Ya Best Couple, and the 60th anniversary exhibition.
The celebration will be immediately followed by Delonix Regia Forum the next day (November 1). This was also the first time that Delonix Regia Forum was held at Guanmiao, since it was first started by TAYA Pristine Homeland foundation back in 2012.
This year's forum features three programs: premiere screening of documentary film - "Environment Friendly Professionals," community environment meeting, and environment 101. According to Ta Ya, the "Green Inside Project," now in its 5th year, has sponsored nearly one hundred professionals and community residents, and supported their initiatives to contribute to the environment.
To help convey their ideas, the foundation collaborated with Taiwan Citizen Media Cultural Association in the production of "Environmental Friendly Professionals," a documentary film that tells the story of winners of the Green Inside Project. The documentary film will be screened for the first time on November 1, while previous Green Inside winners will also be invited to engage local residents in discussions about environment-friendly solutions and inspire people's imagination towards sustainable living.
