Zhan Xiuwei, founder of Otto2 and advocate for children's aesthetics education, held her book release conference - "The Power of Arts" on December 2 at Eslite Xinyi Branch. The conference saw many valued guests including Ta Ya Group Chairman Shen Shang-Hung, who appeared in support for Otto2 to draw the public's attention towards aesthetics education, and to redefine "competitiveness" for the next generation.

Now in its 10th year, Otto2 has 60 offices throughout China and Taiwan. Founder Zhan hoped that by publishing "The Power of Arts," parents can more easily guide children to uncover their sense for beauty. During the conference, Zhan announced that she will be donating her book commissions to Boyo Social Welfare Foundation, an organization devoted to helping disadvantaged children. In addition, Otto2 will be working with Boyo Social Welfare Foundation regularly to help inspire creativity for children living in remote areas as part of its corporate social responsibilities.

Ta Ya Group has invested into Otto2 out of concurrence with its artistic focus, for which Chairman Shen commented: "Pristine homeland is one of the missions of Ta Ya Group. It means more than just protecting the environment, but also promoting a green lifestyle that is friendly to the environment. Green lifestyle applies to food, clothing, accommodation, transportation, education, entertainment, and virtually all aspects of our daily lives. We have envisioned a future where mankind can coexist in harmony with the environment."

Otto2 is one of Ta Ya Venture's main sponsees in the "Education" segment, and Chairman Shen believes in the organization's ability to: inspire children's potentials and creativity through aesthetic teaching, sharpen children's senses to the natural and cultural beauties around them, and prepare children for the future environment and social skills via practical workshops. This way, when children grow up and see a polluted river or a building on the verge of crumbling, they will not sit idly by, but instead take the initiative to explore and execute permanent solutions. From an aesthetic perspective, Zhan has redefined "competitiveness" for the next generation and provided us with new imagination about pristine homeland.

Ta Ya Venture has been investing and introducing external resources into in Otto2 since 2012. Its efforts have helped an ordinary mother who wanted nothing more than to be at her child's side become a well-respected entrepreneur with office presence in 16 cities in China. Otto2 expects to expand its office count to 300 by 2018, and make aesthetics a part of everyday life.
