Taya Joins Hands with Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association to Explore Green Energy Practices and Assume Leadership in Industry Development

       In recent years, the government has accelerated the promotion of energy transition. Taya Energy & Telecom. Cable Business Group therefore held a discussion meeting with Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association R.O.C. to explore green energy practices on November 8. This included an on-site inspection of the unique rooftop solar energy installation of the affiliated enterprise Hengs Technology Co., Ltd.
       The meeting was held in Taya HQ in Guanmiao and was attended by over 30 electrical engineers. Mr. Hua-Chen Li, chairman of the Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association expressed his sincere hope that “cooperation with Taya Group will enhance the understanding of green energy related technologies that are currently being developed. Participation by electrical engineers who contribute their professional expertise to achieve mutual benefits through interaction in this meeting has been enthusiastic. This bears witness to the active commitment of the association to green energy issues.” Mr. Chuang, Pa-Kuei, General Manager of Taya Energy & Telecom. Cable Business Group, pointed out that “Taya Group is firmly committed to the development of renewable energy and the fulfillment of the company’s responsibility as a corporate citizen. In addition to the accumulation of practical experiences in the field of execution, the company will also continue to conduct exchanges with the Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association to facilitate joint progress in the field of green energy issues.”
       In view of the difficulties encountered by Taya Group in the development of solar power plants, it is recommended that the government reinforce cross-departmental coordination, amend relevant las and regulations, simplify relevant processes, and improve the Taipower feeder infrastructure. Offshore wind power is currently experiencing significant growth and Taya Group is active in the development of wind power products such as dynamic submarine cables and turbine wires by tapping its expertise in the field of electric wires and cables. The company’s long-term strategy aims to establish a comprehensive logistics and supply chain system in cooperation with relevant businesses.
       The meeting was followed by an on-site inspection of the solar power plant installations of Hengs Technology by the electrical engineers in attendance. Hengs Technology Vice President Heng-An Zhou stated that “Hengs Technology takes pride in its engineering quality and its actual achievements in Japan and Southeast Asia. The company has strong confidence in the design and maintenance of its photovoltaic systems and has therefore made the pioneering move of guaranteeing power generation amounts.”
       The electrical engineers showed strong interest in the unique rooftop solar energy installation of Hengs Technology and asked numerous questions. The design has a unique appearance and does not affect natural lighting. It also helps regulate indoor temperatures and therefore has the dual effect of energy generation and conservation.
