Tesla is leading the trend in electric cars. Ta Ya Electric Wire & Cable has their eyes set on the electric cars market and revealed the “anti-surge enameled wires” usable for electric car motors.
Ta Ya pointed out that the enameled wires in the motors must meet the demands of each product. When the motors of inverter appliances start, a surge occurs that can easily burn the enameled wires inside. The “anti-surge” enameled wires can handle this phenomenon, and are also applicable for electric car motors with even higher standards.
Ta Ya mentioned that on top of producing enameled wires for first generation electric car motors for an international company, the production for the second generation has begun. In addition to electric cars, they also provide enameled wires for electric motorcycle motors.
Ta Ya explains that once an electric car motor starts, the temperature rises rapidly and can damage the insulating layer of the enameled wires. The new paint can conduct heat, dissipating the heat outside and not accumulating inside the motor.
Ta Ya emphasized that enameled wire paint’s thermal conductivity plays a major role on the performance of the motors. The new enameled wires can increase thermal conductivity, lower motor temperature, maintain adhesion and pliability, and resist softening temperature.
In addition, the low dielectric enameled wires can resist temperatures up to 240℃. Its physical, chemical, and electrical characteristics can maintain at optimal states under harsh conditions, allowing it to be used in fire-fighting and aerospace equipment.
