Amid intensifying climate change and the worldwide economic effects of the Covid-19 epidemic, green energy is becoming a new engine driving economic development. With the government’s efforts to promote the six core strategic industries, the energy market leader Ta Ya Group is expanding its green energy business to include power generation, transmission, storage and conversion.

On April 22, Ta Ya Group received VIPs from the Taiwan Cogeneration Association. Ta Ya Group chairman Shen, Shang-Hung, general manager Shen, San-Yi, executive vice president Shen, Shang-Tao and Ta Ya’s Energy & Telecom. Cable Business Group general manager Chuang, Pa-Kuei personally received the delegation.

Chairman Shen opened the visit with a welcome speech, in which he outlined the company’s future development strategy and the reasons for disinvesting from the submarine cable industry. After this, Taiwan Cogeneration Association chairman Min-Chieh Chang exchanged gifts with Ta Ya.

The 20 delegates expressed their appreciation of Ta Ya’s activities in the solar energy field, especially its pioneering role in energy storage plants in Taiwan. Moving forward, Ta Ya Group intends to develop into a green powerhouse leading the energy industry with innovation, change forward thinking and strengthening its environmental, social, and corporate governance structures to ensure Taiwan’s transformation to green, sufficient and stable energy.
