       After signing a 100% equity purchase and sale agreement for Jhih-Guang Energy on March 30, TAYA and Tatung this morning (July 5) completed the associated equity delivery. Signing of the delivery contract was attended by Chairman Shen, Shang-Hung of the TAYA Group; Group General Manager Lee, Wen-Bing; and by Chaney Ho, President and CEO of Tatung and of Tatung Group; Jhih-Guang Energy Chairman Lin Ho-Lung; President Huang Yun-Wei; and Project Director Yang Tse-Hsin of Tatung Forever Energy.

       Ta Ya Green Energy, a subsidiary of the TAYA Group, purchased Jhih-Guang Energy, a subsidiary of the Tatung Group located in the fishery and electricity symbiosis solar power plant site in the Qigu district of Tainan City. It is estimated that ground-mounted solar power plants of 50MW will be developed every year through 2025. At the end of 2022, Jhih-Guang Energy’s fishery and electricity symbiosis solar power plant will generate electricity in parallel. The total installed capacity of solar power plants operated by TAYA Group can thus reach 250MW, contributing NT$1.5 billion in annual revenues from power generation.

       As a leading brand in energy connection, TAYA Group continues to cooperate with government policies and regulations with the goal of developing ground-mounted power plants of 50MW every year through 2025. After Jhih-Guang Energy’s solar power plant is connected to the grid, the TAYA Group will have 54 solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 250MW and can supply a total of 90,000 households with electricity annually. In the next 20 years, the TAYA Group is anticipated to have excellent capabilities in optimizing the power generation efficiency of the power plants under its operation and will provide powerful support for green power enterprises. Furthermore, it shall establish relationships of recognition and trust between different industries to achieve symbiosis, mutual benefit, and common prosperity to empower Taiwan.
