For this occasion, Ta Ya Group held a press conference today (6th) together with TLPGA, inviting Chairman Wu Tian-Shu of sponsor FORESIGHT OPTICAL LTD., Jianan Golf Course General Manager Xu Zhong-Cheng, and golfers Ding Zi-Yun, Wu Chun-Wei, Hong Yu-Lin, Zhang Jing-Ling, Wang Li-Ning, Chen Xuan, An He-You, and Shi Cheng-Xuan to attend together, adding enthusiasm to the event.

        The 2024 Paris Olympics achieved the milestone of complete gender equality in athlete participation, not only creating new opportunities for the sports world but also profoundly embodying the global popularization of DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) principles.        The "2024 Ta Ya Group Ladies Open Championship" will open at Jianan Golf Course on December 11th. The three-day event has a total prize purse of NT$6 million, attracting 102 professional and amateur golfers. Ta Ya Group Chairman Shen Shang-Hung stated: "Ta Ya Group believes sports events are occasions of great social significance that can break gender boundaries and demonstrate values of diversity and inclusion. Ta Ya hopes to provide more exposure opportunities for Taiwan golfers through this event and help them reach the international stage."

       In addition to providing financial and resource support, Ta Ya Group also creates more competitive opportunities for golfers. TLPGA Chairwoman Liu Yi-Zhen pointed out: "Ta Ya's participation is crucial for female athletes. Especially since Ta Ya started from Tainan and gained international recognition, this event's main stage was chosen at Jianan Golf Course. We hope Ta Ya's involvement can call on more local enterprises to join in supporting the women's Taiwan tour, invigorate the golf atmosphere in southern Taiwan, and make domestic events more exciting." Chairman Shen Shang-Hung emphasizes: "Ta Ya Group upholds its original mission, not only striving for excellence in our core business and assisting the government in promoting energy transition, but also actively participating in social responsibility.

        Ta Ya Group will celebrate its 70th anniversary and will continue to focus on stabilizing Taiwan's power grid and expanding energy affairs in the future. The group's subsidiary, Infinity Energy Storage Technology Co. Ltd, is constructing a "Transmission-level E-dReg 100MW energy storage project" at the Guanlian Industrial Zone in Longjing, Taichung. Expected to be completed in 2025, it will provide 200,000 kWh of daily energy storage capacity, equivalent to the daily electricity needs of approximately 20,000 households, contributing to flexible grid scheduling and power generation efficiency. The second phase of the Longjing project (75MW) was officially launched on December 5th. Additionally, the group's planned Yunlin fishery-solar complementary project is currently actively seeking support from local residents to obtain a "social license."
