Greenhouse Gas Emissions
In 2025, TA YA's Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions totaled 16,644 tCO2e, representing a 17.9% decrease compared with the previous year and a 26.8% decrease compared with the 2021 base year. TA YA has therefore achieved the short-term target of reducing emissions by 15% by 2025.
The Company's greenhouse gas emissions decreased from 20,284 tCO2e in the previous year to 16,644 tCO2e, a reduction of 3,640 tCO2e. This was mainly attributable to a decrease of 2,590,191 kWh in electricity consumption compared with the previous year and an increase of 2,693,591 kWh in renewable electricity use, which together reduced carbon emissions by approximately 3,300 tCO2e.
Scope 3 emissions increased by 86% compared with the previous year, mainly due to the inclusion of Category 2: Capital Goods and Category 15: Investments in the reporting boundary.
