On September 20th, Shen, Shang-Hung, Chairman of Taya Group, accepted the invitation from the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association to attend the unveiling ceremony of the Asia Trails Network Secretariat. As a guest of honor, he delivered a speech alongside Vice President Lai and Chairman Zhang of the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association, marking an important moment in promoting Taiwan's trail movement. In June 2023, the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association officially assumed the Secretariat of the Asia Trails Network (ATN) with the recommendation of various trail organizations across Asia. Since July, the association has been overseeing cross-border collaborations among 22 member trail organizations, including Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, China, and others. The establishment of the ATN Secretariat in Taiwan significantly affirms Taiwan's longstanding international exchanges in trails and collaborative efforts to promote hand-made trails, national greenway construction, and similar projects through a public-private partnership model.

During his speech, Chairman Shen, Shang-Hung remarked, "Taya Group and the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association came together through the 2020 Green Inside Project. We deeply appreciate the efforts and vitality of Taiwan's NGO organizations. Starting in 2021, we initiated a series of collaborative activities, participating in greenway walks and hand-made trail projects organized by the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association. These experiences have allowed our employees, families, and stakeholders to gain a deeper appreciation for Taiwan's trail forests. Last year, Taya Group was also honored to sponsor events such as urban walks and cultural nights, which were organized by the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association in preparation for the Asia Trails Conference. I personally participated in the Tamsui-Kavalan Hiking Carnival and along the way, I could feel the astonishment of international friends towards the beauty of Taiwan's trails.

Taya Group and the Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association led their employees to traverse trails like Raknus Selu Trail, Mountains to Sea National Greenway, Sacred Mountain Route, and Indigenous Route together, using their feet to explore Taiwan. They also engaged in hands-on trail maintenance and learned about using local materials and manual labor to upkeep the trails. This hands-on approach reflects Taya's commitment to promoting a friendly environment and creating a beautiful home, contributing to Taiwan's land with their own hands.
