Using bots on LINE chat rooms, Taiwan startup NextDrive (NextDrive Co.) has developed Taiwan’s first new type of power management service that allows household electricity to be monitored using LINE. Join the official “Energy Activist” account today and click on the online registration for the “1% Energy Activist” activity in the chat room window. After being accepted, you can experience it for free.

Established seven years ago, NextDrive (NextDrive Co.) focuses on energy management services. With award-winning product design and innovative energy data acquisition technology, it serves customers including Taipower as well as Japan’s top five power companies in terms of power generation capacity. It has also accumulated energy management experience in serving tens of thousands of households locally. Adding value to fragmented power data and providing one-stop energy management services, NextDrive Co. has won the favor of many investors, and has obtained successive rounds of investment from ARM-IOT Fund, Alibaba Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund, WI Harper Group, TAYA Venture Capital, and others.

NextDrive has stated that the current “1% Energy Activist” free experience activity is co-organized by Taiwan Power Company to jointly promote household energy management application services and is mainly based on the Route B communication module built into smart meters. NextDrive Co. is a partner of Taipower in home energy management services and Route B technology, which can assist users in obtaining electricity data.

All electricity consumption and cost information are presented through easy-to-understand visual charts so that all daily household electricity information can be seen at a glance. It can also compare electricity consumption changes and trends in different time periods. With no need to wait for your electricity bill, you can check the status of your household electricity data and adjust your electricity consumption habits at any time.

In addition, you can also use LINE to set the upper limit of the electricity bill for each period. Simultaneously, it also supports progressive electricity price and time schemes so that you can view expenditures and your remaining budget at any time. And when the budget is exceeded, it will also send out a reminder notification. In addition, it can also provide users with smart power-saving information and suggestions.

It should be noted that this free experience activity involves two phases. At present, the first phase will be to initially register for community groups that have installed smart meters at home. These applications will be accepted from now until December 31. The second phase will be open to applications by individual households starting from January 2022 (for details, please refer to the event website: http://url.nextdrive.io/DJwO0
